"Yeah whatever..."

So 4board asks me if I am ready to hand off to him while he is doing some decline benchpresses and I responded with a shrug, 'yeah whatever.' He said he appreciated the motivational speech. I will keep that up as it is my goal to inspire people to new PR's...

1/16/2011 (Sunday)
Warm-up
A1. Military press worked up to 155x1 then I did 130x5,  115x5, and  100x5
A2. Band pull-aparts (mini-band) 3x20
A3. Lat pulldowns wide grip changeing bar every 2 sets 6x12/ 140

B. Dips 5x10/ 2-pounds

C. Push-ups 100-115 reps (lost count and did some extra)

For my bench to go up (and who doesn't want a big bench. I don't want to be left out on National Benchpress Days...) I added the military press. Worked up to 155x1, based on that I percieved my max at 165 so I took 90% of 165 and based my training weights off of that (3x5 @ 65, 75 and 85 percents; the 5-3-1 system.) Because of my addled shoulder, I am restricting pressing movements to the bench and the military otherwise I have added a few different bodyweight exercises (some weighted).

And as for motivation, well, I'm no Lou Holtz.

Stay strong,
Ed T.
